London - what will I miss?

I've lived in London longer than I've lived anywhere else. Except for 12 months south of the river I've mostly lived in north and east London. As I'm moving to NZ soon its got me thinking about all the great things about London that I'll miss. So here goes:

1) The wonderful cultural diversity really is the BEST thing about London. A great place to get to know some amazing people and their cultures. And of course this means some cracking food choices.....mmmmmmmm.
2) I've had some great and challenging career opportunities especially those at the Home Office, Coba, Lehman Brother and Goldman Sachs. I've also had the opportunity to work with some talented and inspiring people.
3) Parks - its been great to show Jessica the "lungs of London". My personal favourites are Hampstead Heath, Regents Park, Highgate Woods and Greenwich Park but I can't miss the wonderful Autumn colours in Holland Park.
4) Shops - Marylebone High Street, John Lewis, Selfridges, Liberty. Are there shops in NZ?
5) Markets - two of my hot spots are Broadway Market on a Saturday and Borough Market on a Thursday or a Friday
6) Celeb spotting - recent sightings have been Roger Moore, Denise Van Outen, Roland Gift, Kathy Burke, Tim Vincent, Esther Rantzen and Jason Orage (swooooon). Its also quite nice having the odd celebrity parent at Jessica's school. Go on ask me...!
7) The view from the top deck of the bus whenever you cross the Thames heading south. Awe inspiring everytime.
8) My wonderful, amazing, kind & supportive friends. I'm soooooo going to miss you.

So of course next post will have to be the things I really won't miss.
